It's DEFINITELY not for kids, and is filled with references and jokes to various geek staples (sic-fi, anime, giant robots, action, etc.). It's appeal isn't for everyone, but I personally loved it. I have all 9 episodes from iTunes and for me the show definitely had a high rewatch value. I've read that the DVD set will (like iTunes) be the "censored" version (beeps for profanity). Best described as "Voltron for adults", with the Robot Chicken humor and stop-motion animation style.
