(More customer reviews)I got started knitting with the original Art of Knitting DVD in 2004. It started my love affair with knitting, which still continues. When I saw a second DVD was released, I scooped it up.
The advanced knitting segments have given me the tools and confidence to go beyond scarves. I have even started the sock lessons with Nancie Wiseman and can't believe how easy it is!
I was so afraid to work with dpn's (double pointed needles), but Nancie is a great teacher and takes you step by step through the process. But there's more....a whole set of crochet demos that are fantastic! I have always wanted to learn to crochet to make cute flowers as pins or decorations and now I can. As in the first DVD, the other segments are entertaining and informative, including the story about recycled yarn from saris, felting workshop and great resources and tips.
