(More customer reviews)Don't get me wrong I like "The Saint" but when I bought it I did not pay attention to the 2 area code on where it will play.This is the first time ever I had to be consern "Where it would play and what country it will play in". When I see some DVD I like like I did in the past I would press buy to send it to me. I did not know it would not play until I tried to play it and said "Will not play in this area",Then when I had to plan to return it,I found out from you if open and tore off plastic I could not return it even though it will not play in my DVD player,first time ever I have had this "Problem",Question,Why did they sent it to me if they knew I lived in the USA and it would not work in the USA ?. "Sign James"

(More customer reviews)A great compilation of the original B&W series of Simon Templar. Although for Europe, I have a hacked cheap dvd player that plays that zone. Good booklet. Basic casing. I haven't reviewed the extra features yet, but they look a bit light. Very happy with the set. It is what it says it is, all steak, no sizzle, and tha's fine with me.

Return of the Saint - Complete Series - 7-DVD Box Set Review

(More customer reviews)I remember when this used to come on "CBS late night" on Fridays paired with the New Avengers. Kind of a resurgence of 60s british TV in the late 70s. I really loved both shows for the refreshing story arcs and the music as well. The first few notes of the Theme song just kind of gets in your head and stays there. In some ways it has a similar feel to the Avengers, though also a lot like The Equalizer and that type of genre as well.
Can't wait to get this on DVD in NTSC, hopefully will be released soon. Though I am tempted to buy this one since I do have a region free player somewhere. Would be best if they released it in a bluray, then it would defintiely be worth the $70+ buckaroos.
I never saw the original The Saint series (with Roger Moore) until after I had seen this series, so to ME this WAS the original! I also preferred it in color. Tried to watch the old series since Roger Moore was a familiar face, but just never could get into the older series.
It was a great comeback, wish it had lasted longer.
