This movie has taken forever to be released on DVD in the states. I saw this On Demand off Comcast sometime last year and was surprised by how eerie and well-paced it was. Having said that, the pacing is very slow - very methodic. It's not for everyone. If you like to stick to your action movies (I'm including recent "horror" films like the Friday the 13th remake) you probably won't like this. The film builds on suspense and creepiness as it follows the main character without ever forcing the audience to jump. There's an uneasiness here that is lacking in most modern films. It's not very cinematic either - there's no beautiful cinematography, there isn't any witty dialogue. It lacks all this make-up and doesn't try to look prettier than it is. By doing this the film becomes even more uneasy which, of course, is the point. It's shot almost from the main character's perspective - simple, methodic, and slow. A very interesting character study. If you don't want to think however, and don't have the imagination to be creeped out (not scared), then you should probably stay away.
