(More customer reviews)One of the finest comedy I have seen and cherished with a story in the background of the Second World War.James Robertson Justice, as usual at his finest comedian role, which he enjoyed doing, along with his collegues from the British Cinema, such as Leslie Phillips, and the "Scot" Stanley Baxter ably supported by a string of British Comedians. The story has a background of POW camp and Sir Winston wants the reporter from 'The Times' to return anyhow to get back to his duties and all the prisoners rally round to ensure his escape. The sense of Humour is outstanding and so are the diologues not to mention flawless direction.I would see this one again and again. I would reccomend this as one of my finest collection of comedies for all humour loving enthusiast not to miss it.
